How We Are Maintaining Our High Level of Service

Almost every business and service has had to adapt over the last few months, and Cave & Sons has been no different. Yet, given the technological advances we’ve seen, as well as our colleagues and client’s ability to adapt, we have been able to maintain the high level of service our clients have come to expect from us. Below, we outline just some of the ways we’ve been continuing our service and keeping in touch with our clients.

Zoom

It seems as though every household and business has now become familiar with Zoom. While the software is now seven years old, its popularity grew significantly as the nation began its lockdown.

The benefits of Zoom are clear; it allows us to maintain that face-to-face service with our clients through video conferencing. A screen-share function allows us to stream what is showing on our computer monitors directly to the client, allowing us to refer to and share important information.

The software is user-friendly and easily downloadable on desktop, mobile, and tablet devices. In fact, many of our clients will simply operate Zoom from their browser, eliminating the need to download entirely.

Alternatives to Zoom include Skype for Business, WhatsApp, Facetime, Microsoft Teams, as well as the good old fashioned telephone!

Working From Home

At Cave & Sons, we are dedicated to the wellbeing of our colleagues. Given the very real danger COVID – 19 poses, we had no other option than to facilitate our colleagues working from home. 

In reality, this takes only some slight tweaks and adaptations to how we operate. Our colleagues are equipped with computers – installed with relevant software – and phones that allow them to work seamlessly from home. For safety and security, our devices are connected to a VPN, and we use phones with direct recorded lines where necessary. 

We’re confident in our ongoing ability to deliver the same level of service at home as you expect from us at the office.

Weekly Newsletter

Every Friday evening, we have been sending out an insightful weekly newsletter to those on our mailing list. The newsletter provides a concise weekly market update, comments from our Head of Investment Committee, John Naylor, as well as the occasional competition. 

Additionally, every three months we produce ‘Cave’s Quarterly’, a deep dive into the previous quarter’s news. It also contains an array of insights into different asset classes, our general outlook, comments on what has moved markets, and more.
