Emma’s Aim – The Great Gatsby Charity Ball
Cave & Sons Ltd were honoured to sponsor The Great Gatsby Charity Ball in aid of The Emma’s Aim Trust; set up to support children and young adults with cancer in Northamptonshire.
The fund-raising event took place on 28th September at Northamptonshire County Cricket Club, with the function room being beautifully transformed into the extravagant and exuberant era of the 1920’s. A backdrop of gold and black geometric prints with fancy ‘flapper girl’, black tie and American gangster style outfits enthusiastically worn by all of the guests.
With champagne on arrival, the event kicked off with an emotional but inspiring mission statement from Emma McVeigh herself, followed by a three-course meal. The night was luxuriously meticulous and was packed full of entertainment between every course. Guests were treated to a musical duet, followed by charity casino tables, a live magician, raffle prizes, an auction, photo-booth, fundraising table games and a DJ to help celebrate a successful evening.
An amazing amount of money was raised for such a good cause and the auction certainly had everyone on their toes. Spirits were high and fun was had by all who attended.
