Steve joined the firm in 2006, previously starting his financial services career at a discretionary investment management company operating within a national firm of accountants.
His 25 years in the industry means that he is very experienced at dealing with the up and downs of investing and managing portfolios through uncertain times. He manages portfolios on a discretionary basis for private clients, trusts and charities and enjoys the bespoke nature of the firm’s investment approach and being able to structure portfolios to meet the needs of each individual client. Steve is a longstanding member of MHA Caves investment committee, which oversees the firm’s asset allocation and investment strategy.
He holds the highly regarded Chartered Wealth Manager title and is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (Chartered FCSI).
Away from work, Steve likes to spend quality time with his family, including family film nights and watching his son take part in various sporting activities. He is a longstanding fan of Manchester United and can even claim to have been at Sir Alex Ferguson’s first game in charge, all the way back in 1986!
